(SENIOR) SERVICE ENGINEER
Support our customers in the Benelux with main focus on connectivity: building transmission networks for network operators, enterprise customers and utility companies.
Responsibilities
- Delivering outstanding technical support for our customers:
- Installing and expanding transmission networks
- Maintaining existing installations
- Support solution offerings with proof-of-concepts
- Technical training of our customers
- Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services
Profile
- Higher education (Bachelor or Master) or equal by experience
- Experience in some or all following domains:
- Optical Transmission (C/DWDM)
- Packet Optical Transport (Carrier Ethernet, MPLS)
- Network Management Software
- Access Technologies (PON, AE Fast)
- Routing & Switching - Innovative & creative with commercial feeling
- Teamplayer with good communication skills
- Creative problem solver, driven to succeed with focus on results
- Accurate reporting and documenting of activities
- Mobile and flexible, willing to work outside office hours from time to time
- Willing to travel abroad from time to time
- Experience with telecom transport equipment is an asset
- NL-EN or FR-EN (Trilingual Dutch, English, French is a plus)
