| Arcadiz introduces spearheading technology for mobile operators on European Market facilitating the migration of 2G to 3G networks (27/10/2005)
The DNX-1u provides multiple management benefits. By using the DNX-1u in the BSC, virtually every remote device can be managed from a centralized location. This minimizes the need for technicians to physically travel to cellular base stations to correct a problem, but, if dispatch is required, properly equips the technician for the situation. Significant savings are realized not only from reduced "truck rolls", but also by avoiding revenue loss/churn associated with service outages. By creating an IP channel within the backhaul facilities, the DNX-1u delivers visibility to elements of the network that were previously unmanaged. It is designed to provide network optimization and immediate revenue savings for operators of 1G, 2G and 2.5G wireless networks and enables migration to 3G when operators are ready to deploy.
